Return requests are not accepted for below situations currently.
- Cancellation / refund of a customised size handmade painting that is already made, but unable to ship or delayed in transit
- Cancellation / refund request of artwork that is already painted, but unable to ship or delayed in transit
- Cancellation / refund request of artwork that is already framed, but unable to ship or delayed in transit
- Cancellation / refund request of portrait that is already made, but unable to ship or delayed in transit
- Cancellation / refund requests for orders already shipped or delayed in transit.
- Cancellation / refund requests for orders delayed due to lockdown/restrictions in your location
If you raise cancellation requests within 4 hours of placing the order, we will accept those requests. If artist has not begun work on your project, or if we have not painted the canvas, or framed the artwork - then we can accept cancellation after few days, after order as well. Handmade paintings in default size and unframed, can be cancelled anytime, if not shipped.
For artworks delivered in India.
We have a very flexible and friendly 15-days returns policy. We stick to our no-questions asked policy, and our staff will never ask you why you wish to return the painting, when you have to.
Please note we accept return requests only for unframed paintings delivered in India. Customers must raise return request within 7 days post delivery of the shipment. We do not accept return requests for framed paintings.
For artworks delivered outside India.
We do not accept return requests for paintings delivered outside India owing to customs/shipping complications in bringing them back. In order to give a clearer picture on what to expect, International customers can request us for additional images of the artwork before we ship, by sending us an email on sales@PaintingArtDecor.com after the order is placed. Once the painting is about to be shipped, we will take hi-resolution images and send to you for approval. We will ship only when you approve. You can also raise refund request at this stage if you find painting not matching your expectations. Please note images are not shared for customised painting or paintings as there may be expected as being hand painting. Refunds are only issued for default size paintings. For custom size hand paintings, we will revise the artwork based on your feedback until you are satisfied.
If eligible for returns, you can raise return request in your PaintingArtDecor account, or you can also drop us an email mentioning which items you would like to return. Our staff will provide packing instructions and arrange the artwork pickup of from your home. If you had paid online using cards / online banking - we will refund to the same account. If you had paid using NEFT/RTGS - we will ask you for your bank account number and IFSC code for processing refunds, after deduction of Govt. Taxes and levies already paid. We do not levy any return fee.
Returns for Customized Artworks
Returns are not accepted for Customized Artworks irrespective of whether it is ordered framed or unframed, delivered in India or outside India. However customers can request for additional images to be emailed before shipping. Our artists will revise the painting if needed, based on your inputs. and until you are satisfied outcome with the.
For Lost / Damaged Shipments
In rare case of lost shipments, we will offer full refunds irrespective of the delivery location or framing state, by providing proper certificates and other documents from Customs and other Authorities.
In rare case of delivery of damaged artwork or frames, we will offer refund amounts based on the condition of the same, for artworks only. This does not apply for framings. This will be taken case to case basis once reported to us.
Shipping & packaging
Shipping in India
We offer free shipping for both rolled and framed paintings all over India. We only work with reputed courier partners like Bluedart and FedEx for domestic deliveries. Delivery time frame is mentioned on each painting page.
We deliver to most of the locations in India through known couriers. Some locations which are remote may attract special delivery charges. Our customer care will connect to you in this case once order is placed.
Shipping outside India
We ship unframed artworks to all countries of the world. We request our international customers to frame the artwork locally in their country to save on shipping costs. Delivery time for regular destinations like USA, Canada, UK, Australia, All of Europe, Malaysia, Singapore, Gulf is around 3-5 days more than the mentioned timeframe in painting details. For other destinations it might take around 7-10 days more. We always strive to deliver earlier than what is mentioned. Please note time taken for custom clearance is neither in our control or our courier partner's control, hence delivery time can increase if customs hold the shipment for any reason. We charge a flat shipping fee of $22 per painting. For customized paintings in bigger sizes we will provide shipping quote based on the same.
Shipping outside India
We ship framed and unframed artworks to all countries of the world. But we request our international customers to get framed the artwork locally in their country to save on shipping costs. Delivery time for regular destinations like USA, Canada, UK, Australia, All of Europe, Malaysia, Singapore, Gulf is around 7 to 10 days more than the mentioned timeframe in painting details. For other destinations it might take around 10 to 15 days more. We always strive to deliver earlier than what is mentioned. Please note time taken for custom clearance is neither in our control or our courier partner's control; hence delivery time can increase if customs hold the shipment for any reason. We charge a flat shipping fee of US$28 per painting. For customized paintings in bigger sizes we will provide shipping quote based on the same.
International customers must note that our costs do not cover Custom Clearance Fees and Custom Duties. If applicable, these charges would be collected by the courier partner at the time of delivery, or they might connect to you before delivery, for payments. These charges vary from country to country and subject to frequent changes - hence we can't give you an estimate of the same. However these are quite nominal and shouldn't break the bank. As we usually use FedEx/UPS/DHL for international deliveries you can connect to their customer care in your country and take further information.
We process export grade packaging for all our export shipments, so that they could absorb jerks and stack weight in the transit, - and reach you in safe and sound condition. Painting rolls are put in hard protective tubes and sealed at ends. We pack all Paintings in Export Quality packing, with multiple layers of bubble sheet packing. Gift wrapping is also available on request.
We make custom 25mm to 40mm thick walled (depending on size) thermocol boxes for each frame, which is again wrapped with 6-8 layers of double layered bubble sheets. Gift wrapping is also available on request for free.
In rare case, if any of the artwork is lost or damaged in transit - we will happily offer you refunds. The damaged painting should be returned to us. If the frame is delivered damaged we will offer full refund of framing charges.

Above information is for delivery purpose and post-order support only. We save IP address to prevent continuousfraudulent access to our system, and to prevent fake orders only. If you opt to receive our updates, we might send occasional offers and updates to your email. We do not share this information with any third party, for any purpose whatsoever.
We do NOT save your Credit/Debit Card number, Net Banking ID/Password, Expiry Date, CVV Number and any other details associated with your credit/debit card or bank accounts.
IP Address and Cookies
We also collect "non-personal" information from you, such as your browser type, the URL of the previous web site you visited, your ISP, operating system, and your IP address. "Non-personal" information cannot be easily used to personally identify you. We may use your non-personal information to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website. Please note all payment transactions are handled by reputed Third-Party payment processors, and we do not save any information whatsoever related to your credit/debit/net banking/cash cards/mobile banking accounts. Such transmission is also encrypted by payment processors with their own SSL certificates.
Our services are intended for users ages 18 and older. Accordingly, we will not knowingly collect or use any personal information from persons that we know to be under the age of 18. In addition, we will delete any information in our database that we know originates from a child under the age of 18.
Updating your personal information
If your personal information changes, you may correct, update or remove personal information previously provided to us by contacting us at sales@PaintingArtDecor.com or self-help customer portal.
All artworks on PaintingArtDecor.com are uploaded by respective artists/sellers after a declaration that it is their original work, or they have licenses to sell those respective artworks. PaintingArtDecor, just acts as a mere intermediary between sellers and buyers providing them with a technical platform, and hence as an intermediary claims insulation to any copyright infringement cases against any artwork(s) on its platform. Original authors/artists/copyright holders must inform us on sales@PaintingArtDecor.com in case of any copyright infringement of their artworks, and those works shall be promptly removed.
